New Workshop Series: Working In The Czech Republic

What is an employment card? Where and how do you get one? What to triple-check when you are signing an employment contract? All these questions will be answered by experts from visa agency PraguExpats and attorneys from EXPATLEGAL. Their new workshop series offers a perfect opportunity to learn more about living and working legally in the Czech Republic – all in friendly atmosphere with a plenty of space for open debate with direct questions for the speakers.

Our first workshop will help you better understand the process of applying for an employee card and  provide you with useful information on legal aspects of employment contract and employee’s rights  according to the Czech law.

The goal of the workshop is to bring light on the topic of searching  the right employer, signing legally perfect employment contract and following all necessary steps to obtain an employee card.

Venue and Organization


The workshop will be held on October 1st from 10:00 to 13:00 at Expat center/café The Spot, Chodská 22, Prague 2 – Vinohrady ( 

The presentation room is at the back of the café and its capacity is up to 30 people. Please remember to use the registration form to make sure we will save you a seat.

During the workshop day, visitors will have an opportunity to write down and put their questions into a special box. All questions will be answered during the final debate.

The entry is free with free snacks provided during the day.
