Are you passionate about translating complex technical concepts into clear and concise documentation? We are seeking a dynamic Technical Writer to be a vital part of our team, creating and refining documentation that fuels our projects and initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Craft and develop documentation aligned with the unique needs of various projects and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in engaging IT infrastructure, process, and service design discussions.
  • Gather and synthesize essential information from SMEs related to IT, processes, services, and support.
  • Ensure the quality and coherence of technical writing by reviewing and editing content contributed by fellow team members.
  • Seamlessly integrate gathered information into essential IT, process, and service definition documents, support policies, user manuals, training guides, and other pertinent materials.
  • Elevate concerns and potential risks to technical writing managers whenever additional support is required.
  • Maintain consistent communication with clients, updating them on project status and employing innovative technical strategies to best address their challenges.
  • Offer valuable insights and recommendations to SMEs for enhancing documents, especially when working on unconventional drafts, and collaborate with team members as necessary.

Requirements:  

  • Demonstrated experience creating a range of IT technical documentation including Guides, Forms, Standards, SOPs, Manuals, Checklists, and diverse Engineering and Design documents (HLDs, LLDs, EBRTs, etc.)
  • Ideally, a minimum of 5 years experience, with at least 3 years in similar roles.
  • Proficiency in IT concepts as relevant to the assigned documentation; familiarity with ITIL processes and adeptness with ITSM tools; prior exposure to GxP is advantageous.
  • Solid comprehension of Networking and OT technology principles, encompassing concepts like OPC model, TCP and UDP connections, and firewalls.
  • Proficiency in tools such as MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Visio), Adobe Acrobat, and other relevant software.
  • The work can be done remotely but within the Czech Republic
