Role Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional for the role of CTO/Senior Lead Game Developer (or experienced Senior Architect) to lead our development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in game architecture, infrastructure design, and web-based gaming applications. Proficiency in both front-end (Svelte, JavaScript, etc.) and back-end development (C# with ASP.NET Core), along with expertise in Unreal or Unity engines, is essential. Familiarity with DevOps practices is also required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary development team, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
  • Decision-making skills and competencies for the CTO role
  • Design and oversee the architecture and infrastructure of gaming environments and web-based applications.
  • Develop and implement front-end solutions using Svelte and JavaScript, etc.
  • Manage back-end services utilizing C# and ASP.NET Core.
  • Create and optimize VR training modules and gaming experiences using Unreal or Unity engines, Needle,..
  • Implement and maintain DevOps processes to ensure efficient development cycles and deployment.
  • Collaborate with international partners on various projects, ensuring seamless integration and delivery.

Requirements

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a leadership role within game/educational development or a similar field.
  • Strong architectural and infrastructural design skills for gaming applications.
  • Proficiency in front-end technologies: Svelte, JavaScript or similar
  • Expertise in back-end development with C# and ASP.NET Core.
  • Hands-on experience with Unreal or Unity game engines.
  • Solid understanding of DevOps practices and tools.
  • Ability to work on-site in our Brno office 2-3 days per week.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with international teams – Czech + English professional
