This role is a good fit for a person wishing to join and lead a new team of 4 database programmers. You will act as a tech lead combining team leading, mentoring and participation in SW development.
- Supervise and mentor database engineers, become go-to person for the product
- Take ownership of product architecture, follow principles of evolutionary architecture
- Lead DB development competency in the team
- Analyze, design, and implement new product features
- Constantly assess and utilize new technologies and SW development approaches
- Cooperate closely with developers of other teams and business colleagues
- At least 5 years of database development
- Proficient in Oracle DB. Knowledge of MS SQL Server Database Engine
- Knowledge of DML/DDL operations, stored procedures, views, functions, triggers, Dynamic SQL
- Knowledge of transaction isolation levels, locking mechanisms, SSIS, SQL server security
- Ability to delegate; encourage and inspire your team members
- Experience with leading technical teams is an advantage
