CUSTOMER COMPANY OVERVIEW

Our client company is a prestigious multinational that provides a wide range of services, including IT in support, infrastructure, operations, and development as well as managing different contact centres for the primary European Institutions in Europe.

 

PROFILE

The wide and complex network of its clients, now requires the inclusion of a IT  Engineering Support and IT Call Desk for a new office in Prague to contribute to the successful office set-up.

 

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

The ideal profile, which will be aligned and educated on the particularities of the company’s activity, will have the following tasks:

 

·         Provide ongoing technical application support to customers

·         Manage the end-to-end cycle for anomalies and troubleshooting

·         Capture and analyse customer needs and issues, making recommendations for new solution development

·         Generation and maintenance of operating procedures

·         First-line support for users and ongoing interaction with second-line support

·         Second-line support for SW testing and verification activities

·         Second-line support for issues such as maintenance, operation and transfer of managed applications

·         Provide innovative solutions to common problems

 

IDEAL FEATURES

·         Good knowledge of Linux environment, with administration skills (Red Hat, CentOS, Suse, Ubuntu)

·         Good knowledge of DMS (KT, Alfresco, SEED DMS)

·         Very good shell scripting

·         Good knowledge of ITIL processes

·         Very Good knowledge of Networking principles

·         Good knowledge of MS Office

·         Knowledge of Linux Virtual Machine (Debian, Red Hat)

·         Knowledge of Databases (MySQL, ORACLE, PostgreSQL, Informix, SQL)

·         Good programming skills in Python and/or Java is an asset

 

LANGUAGE KNOWLEDGE AND CORE COMPETENCES

·         2-3 years of experience in usage of DMS

·         2-3 years of experience in Linux environment

·         English: both written and spoken is a required

·         Italian or/and Czech is an asset

·         Advanced ability to communicate both orally and in writing

·         Good communications skills

·         Capacity of working in team

·         Capacity of achieving schedule and milestones

·         Customer Service Skills
