Job description

– Responsible for defined activities in the Accounting function – primarily in the area of general ledger and taxes, but also for AP and AR
– Operate in a SAP environment, utilizing automation and process improvement
– Consistently meet deadlines and oversee with month end close, hard close and year end close
– Be a key point of contact during the audit for assigned areas
– Obtain and maintain a through understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structure
– Work cross-functionally to maintain processes that ensure data integrity
– Serves as a technical expert for all GL issues and works with other functions/business to determine appropriate account actions
– Provide customer service to both external/internal customers to resolve issues in a timely manner and maintain relationships
– Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures, including internal controls, group accounting rules and corporate compliance; enforce policies and
procedures, if needed


– Solid understanding of IFRS and UGB
– Experience with ERP systems – SAP preferred
– Experience with taxes in corporate environment
– Proficiency of Microsoft office applications including Microsoft Excel
– Language skills: German and English a must
– Open to some travel (up to 10%)
– Willingness to work first 1,5-2 years in Vienna, after this period of time the work place will be in Prague
