Our international client with a Shared Service Center in Prague is currently looking for a General Ledger Accounting manager to lead their accounting department responsible for the EMEA region.
As the GL Accounting Team Leader, you will be responsible for the following:
– Performing and leading end-to-end accounting activities for the EMEA region
– Leading a small accounting team of accountants
– Resolving complex accounting issues
– Ensuring the timely completion of monthly processes
– Ensuring that process documentation, manuals, and guidelines are complete and up-to-date
– Continuous process optimization through digitization and automation
Requirements
– Complex accounting experience needed ideally from an SSC
– Experience with US-GAAP needed
– Proven record of successful leadership and management experience
– Relevant educational background
– Fluent English (C1)
– Knowledge of US GAAP and SOX
– CPA/ ACCA qualification is a plus
– SAP and HFM experience is an advantage
