Overview

As a Lead Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing the architecture of MSLIB software, leading technical discussions, and making key decisions. You will be the technical point of contact for the team and participate in coding, primarily focusing on template design using Freemarker, HTML, and CSS for email rendering.

Job description

  • Collaborate with the Engineering team to design solutions, maintain and develop MSLIB, and translate solutions into MSLIB architecture.
  • Implement or delegate tasks to other developers, ensuring effective project management and timely delivery.
  • Oversee the MSLIB project from an architectural standpoint, maintaining a maintainable, reusable, and scalable codebase using modern software design patterns and clean code practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as software engineering or related IT fields preferred.
  • Proven experience in designing and developing IT systems, with expertise in software architecture.
  • Proficiency in Freemarker, HTML, CSS, and their application in email development.
  • Familiarity with at least one modern high-level programming language and framework (e.g., Java/Spring, JavaScript/React, Python/Django).
  • Experience in software design, software architecture, and adherence to modern software development standards.
  • Comfortable with modern collaboration tools such as Jira (with Scrum), Git, and Figma.
