Job description

For our client, we are looking for temporary help in the position of Logistics Planner/Dispatcher, where you will be responsible for operational logistics planning for various loads and delivery locations.
Ensure capacity and performance will be the main goal.

The dispatcher’s role includes:
– Transport planning and pro-active follow-up of deliveries in Europe
– Collaborate with other departments as well as external suppliers of transport capacity
– Act as a ”spider in the net” in the interface towards external providers of transport capacity, warehouses, production, Mill Order planning etc. with the aim of accessing the best information to be used for optimization of delivery flows and securing of transport capacity
– Monitoring deviations and proposing alternative solutions
– Loading location monitoring
– Customer and service minded approach in the daily tasks
– Managing just in time deliveries with fixed unloading dates and times
– Optimizing costs by finding transport combinations for partial loads
– Reporting on supplier performance follow up

Temporary help with possible transfer to a newly emerging team.

Start: Immediately

Location: Ostrava / home office

Requirements

– experience from the same or similar position min. 3 years
– experience in Logistics planning or production planning preferred
– good communication skills and fluent English (B2, C1)
– to be persistent, systematic and drive for results, gets things done
