Verizon is expanding its European Network Engineering group and we’re looking for motivated Network Engineers at both Junior and Senior levels.

Job description

What You Will Do

As part of multinational engineering team, you will be involved in:

  • Managing and supporting Private & Public IP Networks
  • Network configuration, optimization, and long-term capacity planning
  • Working with Juniper and Cisco technologies
  • Participating in customer service delivery and investigating network issues
  • Supporting equipment deployment, upgrades, and end-of-life transitions
  • Cooperating with colleagues across Europe on complex network topics
  • Collaborating with project managers and providing technical insights

No on-call duties – Monday to Friday, standard 8-hour schedule.

Requirements

Junior Network Engineer (1–2 years experience) – Location: Ostrava

You should have:

  • Basic hands-on experience with Cisco networking
  • Motivation to grow your skills in Juniper (we’ll help you learn!)
  • Understanding of IP networks, routing, switching
  • Communicative English (B2 level)
  • Proactive attitude and willingness to develop professionally
  • Hybrid working mode – 2 – 3 days in office – Ostrava

Senior Network Engineer – Location: around Prague area (remote)

You should have:

  • Strong expertise in telco transmission systems and IP networking
  • Solid experience with Juniper technologies + Cisco as second option
  • Ability to independently handle complex technical tasks
  • Experience with network design, diagnostics, optimisation
  • English at a professional working level
  • Ability to collaborate within an international team

Full remote work (occasional office meetups in Prague)
