Job description
As Network Security Engineer (L2) you will be responsible for:
- providing second-line remote technical support to clients
- managing incidents of medium complexity
- monitor infrastructure – ensure that assigned infrastructure site is configured, installed, tested and operational
- ensure resolution of incidents and requests – investigate second line support calls assigned to them and identify the root cause of incidents and problems
- incident management – will take responsibility receiving calls and incidents at the services desk. Assist in analysing, assigning and escalating the support calls
- develop detail work instructions for L1 Engineers to follow and complete requests
- submit change implementation plan with risk assessments and roll-back action
Requirements
As an ideal candidate you should have:
- Working experience in network security administration or support
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the support environment
- Experience in supporting clients with any of the following technologies: Juniper, Checkpoint, Cisco, F5, RSA Security, Fortinet, Bluecoat, Palo Alto, Aruba, McAfee, Algosec, Netscreen, Fireye
- Advanced in English and German is a must
