Overview

We are looking for a motivated Procurement Buyer with a steep learning curve for our client, a Fortune 500 corporation offering industrial solutions for automation, energy and sustainability.

Job description

  • Conducting operational procurement from external suppliers in the company portfolio
  • Procuring materials to support external orders for the distribution center in Great Britain
  • Ensuring timely delivery by active communication with suppliers and clever material allocation
  • Dealing with invoice discrepancies and customs issues
  • Cooperation with the Quality Department and the Planning Team regarding any issues
  • Taking part in continuous improvement processes within the scope of the job

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in procurement, business administration, logistics or another related field
  • At least 1 year experience in procurement, purchasing or a related field
  • Fluent English at least at B2 level, communicative Czech is a plus
  • Good prioritization and problem-solving skills
  • Confident user of Excel
  • Knowledge of SAP purchasing module is a plus
