The Team & The Network
We are a diverse team of Network and Software engineers from all over the world.
Our team is based in US and Brno, but we currently work from home.
We care for our AT&T network that serves over 180 million of customers and that is packed with cutting edge technologies including 5G.
Our main responsibility is to implement projects that enhance the network. This includes activities in the Radio Access Network and the Transport Network. We perform remote provisioning of new base stations, addition of new carriers, spectrum work and other configuration changes.
To execute these challenging activities efficiently and safely we are looking for new colleagues who are capable of developing internal automation tools that will help us speed up the deployment of the enhancements while keeping the network reliable, accessible and running at its best.
As software developer, you will closely cooperate with your peers doing network engineering to help them automate the provisioning activities. This includes gathering of requirements, designing the solution including architecture, presenting the solution to the team and implementation and maintenance of the solution.
We focus on thin-client, web-based applications that typically parse input from the user and automate a task – query a database, generate scripts, connect to network elements to configure or fetch parameters.
Your task is to design, develop and maintain the application end to end – frontend and backend including database. We don’t limit the actual framework or solution you choose but the common ground includes the knowledge of these technologies:
