An Internet sales manager’s main job involves carrying out promotional and sales activities for the organization on the Internet. They provide relevant information online for prospective clients, and direct clients and other relevant stakeholders to the necessary resources.


  • a college diploma or bachelor’s degree in a business-related field, sales, marketing or computer science (MBA will be advantageous), Sales seminars by consultants or short courses on Internet marketing by industry associations is acceptable;
    fluency in both – Czech and English (day-to-day communication);
    Search Engine Marketing (SEM) and Search Engine Optimization (SEO) competency;
    a good familiarity about the Internet (knowledge of basic HTML or Web design skills is an added advantage especially in Dreamweaver and Photoshop);
    knowledge of computer applications such as Microsoft Office, Access and Powerpoint is also necessary.


  • excellent communication and strong persuasive skills with self-confidence;
    ability to work independently with self-discipline;
    a passion and a strong interest to stay updated on the latest online developments;
    good customer service skills;
    ability to work in a fast-paced technological environment.


  • meeting and exceeding the monthly sales target earning maximum profit margins for the organization;
    guiding, instructing and giving directions to all the sales team personnel and assisting in organizing all the sales activities of the internet sales department;
    understanding the target audience and explaining the use and operation of that particular product;
    selecting products, merchandising as per the demands of the customers and aligning to answer all the queries that are being raised by them;
    enhancing the customer satisfaction during the entire purchasing experience;
    coordinating and implementing the best practices to ensure effective sales approach and assisting the sales team personnel in closing sales whenever needed;
    forecasting and budgeting financial plans for the Internet department;
    communication with local, central and external partners with excellent understanding of digital marketing.
