Job description

The video editor/producer will execute and coordinate professional, creative video production and live shooting.
The projects range from mastering of a raw footage with simple animations, stock videos and postproduction activities (e.g. cutting, sound corrections, filtering, simple coloring …). More complex projects include on-site video shooting in Europe, selection of shooting location, lightning, audio recording, postproduction activities, complex animations and production crew management. This person will also become a part of the production team which delivers live-streaming events for our client in the European region.
Video Editor/Producer will be directly communicating with the clients and collaborating with directors and other production staff. This person can also manage projects from concept, through script and storyboard, all the way to the final production and product hand over to the client.
The ideal candidate will be hands on in supporting all aspects of the video production, including live-streaming. Strong organizational, communications and production skills are required. This person will be also involved in marketing and distribution processes and will help with setting up project budgets. Previous experience with project management is a plus.

Tasks include:
• Understanding client targets and needs
• Proposing creative video solutions to the client
• Professional on-site and studio shooting, postproduction and video mastering
• Creation of attractive video animations
• Work in iterations and reaching the client’s goals
• Liaising and discussing projects with financial backers
(projects can range from a small, corporate video costing 500€ to dozen-thousands-euro-budget projects)
• Organizing shooting schedules
• Troubleshooting
• Bringing the finished production in on budget and on time
• Reading, researching, assessing and developing ideas and scripts
• Watch the latest trends in video production and implement them in daily job
• Maintaining contemporary and cutting-edge technical skills
