Job description

What you’ll be doing:

  • Mid or advance trouble shooting supporting Data Centre Technologies with focus on Linux and Windows Servers
  • Monitoring of ITSM tools and ticket handling to achieve and exceed SLA/OLA requirements
  • Technical coordination and preparation of technical documentation and reports
  • Working closely with other teams

Technical scope for L1:

  • Widows or Linux Administration
  • Active Directory (add/change user, groups, password reset)
  • DNS (add/change DNS Records)
  • VMWare (console login to VM, start/stop VM)
  • Networking (IP Adresses, routing, subnetting)

Technical scope for L2 (in addition to L1):

  • Widows or Linux (advanced troubleshooting, iSCSI / multipath)
  • Active Directory (advanced troubleshooting, GPO / replication)
  • NetApp storage (add/resize volumes, adjust export policy, imitator groups quotas, basic SnapManager troubleshooting)
  • VMWare vCenter (add/manage datastores, add/resize disks, add/modify network settings / VLAN)

 

Requirements

Our requirements:

  • Relevant work experience in the areas of Windows/Linux Administration and / or Data Centre technologies
  • Understanding of Event, Incident, Request, Change and Problem Management as per ITIL best practice
  • Fluent English and preferably German
  • Strong customer and service orientation combined with good communication and teamwork skills
