Join our client’s Data COE and help shape the next generation of AI-powered data operations. We’re looking for an experienced AI/ML Engineering professional to design, build, and scale production-grade agentic AI systems that automate complex workflows, interact with tools, and deliver reliable insights from proprietary data assets.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior AI/ML Engineer, Staff Engineer, or Technical Lead looking to remain hands-on while stepping further into technical leadership and people management.
As an Associate Manager, you will play a key role in a transition from traditional data pipelines to autonomous AI agents capable of planning, reasoning, retrieving information, and operating within production guardrails.
Job description
- Design and deploy agentic AI workflows using modern orchestration frameworks
- Build multi-step AI agents featuring tool calling, memory management, and agent orchestration
- Implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and semantic search solutions
- Create evaluation frameworks focused on accuracy, latency, cost, and reliability
- Establish AI governance, guardrails, and human-in-the-loop review processes
- Partner with business stakeholders to translate strategic initiatives into technical solutions
- Own production releases, monitoring, versioning, and continuous improvement of AI systems
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical leadership within the team
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in AI/ML Engineering or Data Science
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience building and deploying LLM or agentic AI solutions in production
- Strong Python and SQL skills
- Experience with AI agent orchestration, tool calling, and modern LLM application development
- Knowledge of RAG, semantic search, and evaluation methodologies
- Understanding of AI system risks such as hallucinations, drift, prompt injection, and cost runaway
- Previous experience mentoring, leading projects, or managing junior team members
