Overview
We are seeking skilled Massage Therapists with a passion for wellness to help build our brand as a boutique upscale SPA salon in the trendy area of Praga Południe district of Warsaw, Poland.
As a Massage Therapist or Senior Massage Therapist, you will provide exceptional SPA treatments to our clients. You will use your knowledge of traditional rituals and your skills to provide various massage techniques.
Using your positive attitude, empathy, and genuinely caring about each customer’s well-being, our clients will relieve stress, reduce pain, and aid in general wellness.
Your responsibilities
Provide professional treatments,
Create a relaxing environment essential for a successful massage session (e.g. setting up the therapy rooms, preparing products and making sure the client is comfortable),
Build trusted relationships with clients endearing them to our brand resulting in repeat customers,
Provide clients aftercare instructions to help them maintain the benefits of the treatment,
Maintain high standards of hygiene in the treatment areas,
Develop professional skills and maintaining awareness of latest trends/best practices in massage therapy,
Adhere to professional ethics and standards of practice,
Keep a well-groomed, professional appearance,
Supervising SPA operations including scheduling, training, monitoring levels and ordering supplies (Senior Massage Therapist),
Developing and performing advanced rituals (Senior Massage Therapist),
Developing additional service offerings based on client’s feedback (Senior Massage Therapist),
Assisting in enhancing of SPA operational procedures (Senior Massage Therapist),
Mentoring and training other staff members (Senior Massage Therapist).
Our requirements
3+ years of documented experience in Asian massage practices,
Completion of a formal massage therapy program from a reputable school,
Certifications to validate skills and compliance with industry standards,
Specialization in several different massage therapy techniques, mainly in Thai and Balinese, including massage of the different body parts, e.g. foot reflexology, Kobido/facial massage, head massage. Other desired types of massage include, but are not limited to: Lomi Lomi, Shiatsu, Hilot, lymphatic massage, deep tissue massage, with use of different massage types, i.e.: aromatherapy, hot stones, herbal stamps/herbal compress therapy, candle, shea butter, hot oil, peeling, etc.
Ability to perform massages on diverse clients (adults, children, pregnant women),
Candidates must be eligible to work in Poland,
Excellent customer-focused service skills and a well-groomed appearance,
Effective communication skills necessary to assess clients’ preferences,
Conversational English desired,
Empathic, professional, caring and friendly attitude,
Physical strength and endurance with strong manual dexterity,
Ability to work flexible hours and time management skills to keep appointments on schedule.
