Overview

For our client, we are looking for a Senior Payroll Analyst who will take ownership of payroll operations and ensure accurate, compliant, and timely payroll processing in the Czech Republic.

Job description

  • Manage and process monthly payroll activities, ensuring accuracy and timely completion
  • Maintain payroll records and documentation for audit and compliance purposes
  • Reconcile payroll data and resolve discrepancies between payroll and financial systems
  • Ensure compliance with Czech labor law, tax regulations, social security requirements, and internal SOX controls
  • Prepare payroll reports, reconciliations, and analyses for internal and external stakeholders
  • Support year-end payroll activities, including annual tax processing and benefits reconciliation
  • Conduct payroll audits and identify opportunities for process optimization and automation
  • Manage payroll-related inquiries and communication with external authorities
  • Process payroll setup and updates related to new hires, employee changes, and terminations

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of payroll experience, ideally in a Czech or European environment
  • Strong knowledge of Czech payroll legislation, labor law, taxation, and social security regulations
  • Experience working with ADP GlobalView
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Proactive mindset and problem-solving abilities
