Overview
Job description:
- Facilitate centralized collection of data, ensuring all user-generated data is appropriately integrated into our storage platform.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to ensure data aligns with user requirements, expectations, and established quality standards.
- Develop and maintain roadmaps focused on data, diagnostics and metadata integration and standardization.
- Actively contribute to the implementation of our data policy, ensuring adherence to FAIR and Open principles.
- Implement and enforce internal data governance processes, supporting consistency and compliance across the organization.
- Clearly communicate and provide guidance on data management, data integration and data transfer processes to users and internal stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in a support role within a scientific research facility or similar organizational context.
- Basic familiarity with scientific data management principles, including FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable) and Open Data frameworks
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of clearly articulating complex concepts to diverse audiences
Optional qualifications, which can be of benefit:
- Basic proficiency with programming or scripting languages (e.g., Python, or R).
- Experience or knowledge related to data integration, standardization methodologies, metadata standards
