Overview

For our client, a stable international investment company, we are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant who will be responsible for the accounting of selected group entities, financial reporting, and cooperation with internal and external stakeholders in an international environment.

Job description

  • Keeping and processing the accounts of selected companies within the group.
  • Payroll accounting (payroll calculation is not part of the role).
  • Preparation and submission of VAT returns and VAT control reports.
  • Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual statistical reports.
  • Preparation of periodic and annual financial statements and reporting to the parent company in accordance with CAS and IFRS.
  • Cooperation with various departments, including Controlling, FP&A, Treasury, and other finance teams.
  • Active participation in financial audits.
  • Communication and cooperation with banks, auditors, tax authorities, and other external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Solid accounting experience.
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • Passion for accounting and continuous professional development.
  • Fluency in Czech and English.
  • Experience working with SAP.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Team player with a collaborative mindset and strong interpersonal skills.
