Job description

  • Stay on top of developments in IFRS 13 “Fair Value”
  • Monitor and ensure the consistent application of fair value policies across all Group entities
  • Provide unbiased assessments of fair value models and management judgments used in consolidated financial statements
  • Challenge model outputs to ensure they are reasonable and free from “black box” uncertainties
  • Deliver insights and recommendations to senior management, regulators, and internal stakeholders
  • Serve as co-secretary of the Group Valuation Committee, preparing and presenting at meetings and advising on proposals

Requirements

  • A Master’s degree in Economics or a mathematical background with at least 3 years of relevant experience
  • Familiarity with IFRS standards in banking or insurance
  • Knowledge of financial instruments (derivatives, shares, bonds) and financial markets
  • Excellent communication skills in English to discuss technical topics with senior management and external stakeholders
  • A team player with a proactive attitude, capable of managing multiple deadlines and delivering high-quality results
  • Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail, capable of synthesizing complex data
  • A basic knowledge of statistics and interested in working with numbers
