Overview

Accenture seeks a Sourcing Manager to lead sourcing projects end to end and collaborate with internal and external clients to lead identified sourcing events related to various spend areas for different categories (i.e., Technology, HR, CPS, Marketing, Professional Services, Legal, Travel etc(category should be changed based on job requirement)). The resource will have a proven track record in leading and managing multiple sourcing projects, demonstrate 5 years + category experience, project manage, strong negotiation skills and the ability to analyse and recommend supplier selection in a client as well as negotiate and close both the commercial and legal terms in a contract.

Lead Sourcing Projects:

  • Lead without guidance execution of sourcing projects to contract closure.
  • Demonstrate the ability to negotiate both incumbent renewals or as part of a RFP process achieve savings.
  • Knowledge and experience in desired category.
  • Strong hands-on experience working on ERP systems such as Jaggaer, Ariba, SAP, etc.
  • Interact with key customer and internal stakeholders and work closely with them to identify areas of improvement.
  • Offer creative solutions to support the overall sourcing program and achieve desired results
  • To ensure timely project deliverables with the defined quality standards
  • Will be responsible for creating & presenting the deliverables to Client/Internal global team members
  • A track record of strong collaboration and ability to influence outcomes.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data to create recommendations

Skills and proficiency Expectations

Category Specific Skill = should have strong experience in the desired category, strong presentation and communication skills, track record in sourcing, analytical and presentation skills.

Required

  • B.E /B.Tech, MBA, CPSM / CPM (desired)
  • 5+ years of Sourcing & Category Management experience, out of which approximately 90% should be in Global Sourcing
