One of our clients, a multinational company leading innovations in online retailing, cloud computing and digital streaming, is now looking for an Accounting Assistant fluent in Italian to assist with inbound accounts payable queries from Italian suppliers.

Job description

  • Processing inbound vendor queries for Italian market via calls and emails
  • Processing cases from the EDI invoice troublebox
  • Investigating unpaid invoices, late payment and payment discrepancies
  • Case analysis and escalation in cooperation with other departments
  • Vendor statement acquisition and final reconciliation
  • Proof of delivery acquisition and research

Requirements

  • Great communication skills and attention to detail
  • Experience with the invoicing process and an understanding of the system flow of POs and invoices
  • Customer service skills essential for active communication with external suppliers
  • Willingness to work onsite 5 days a week
  • Fluent English and native-level Italian
  • At least 2 years experience in AP or invoice processing
